bond bill passes the house

The House passed its version of the $300 million bond bill for transportation needs. Many amendments were added. These did not change the the main content of the legislation but it quickly became a wishlist of various legislator's projects.

Meanwhile, the Senate Finance Committee approved its version of the $300 million bond bill. The Senate will plan to take this up before the full Senate tomorrow.
