Attempt to transfer another $30 million failed

While waiting for the Senate to discuss the bond bill (HB 1638) that is on the calendar, 40 Senators beat back an amendment to take another $30 million out of MDOT funds for the upcoming fiscal year. Six senators voted in favor of taking the $30 million. Is this a sign of things to come as we wind down the 2010 Legislative Session??
